Set up IronMeshVPN on iPhone

Before you start

Install the official WireGuard app from the App Store, or start at wireguard.com/install.

Sign in to your IronMeshVPN dashboard, add or choose a device, and download the WireGuard configuration file (.conf).

Step-by-step

  1. Download the .conf file from your dashboard (use Manual config download or a device Download button).
  2. Save the file to the Files app on your iPhone, or transfer it safely (for example via AirDrop, email, or cloud storage).
  3. Open the WireGuard app on your iPhone.
  4. Tap the + button.
  5. Choose Create from file or archive.
  6. Select the .conf file you saved.
  7. When iOS asks, allow WireGuard to add VPN configurations.
  8. Turn the tunnel on in WireGuard to connect.

Troubleshooting

If the tunnel does not connect, download a fresh .conf from your dashboard and import it again. Remove the old tunnel in WireGuard first if you are replacing a profile.
